For over 30 years, Arthur has been an entrepreneur within the commerce industry, from creating start-ups to guiding high-performing teams. He founded five startups, exited three, and was most recently the President of the America’s for commercetools, Inc., a hugely successful composable commerce platform company.
His career in e-commerce started with Oracle in 1998 and extended through 2022 with positions at BroadVision, Vcommerce, Magento (now Adobe Commerce), and Ecommerce Accelerator. He’s worked with most major commerce platforms and technologies and created successful businesses that drove billions in sales through enterprise commerce sites across the globe. He’s worked on both the platform and the services side and led organizations that delivered some of the most complex commerce solutions ever created.
In his last position, he founded the US/Americas organization for commercetools and helped build the company to over $100m in recurring revenue in five years. As employee #1 in the Americas, he built a team of over 150 professionals that helped define the concept of composable commerce and successfully bring it to a market-leading position.
His expertise lies in guiding businesses to understand and harness the power of composable commerce. With a wealth of high-level contacts and deep-rooted knowledge in this field, he provides valuable insights, guidance, and strategies to optimize business operations and drive growth.
